Dear colleagues,

on behalf of the organizing committee we have the pleasure to invite you to the 10th International Symposium on Targeted Alpha Therapy. The symposium will be jointly organized by Kanazawa University and the Joint Research Centre of the European Commission and will be held in Kanazawa, Japan on May 30 to June 1, 2017. In its traditional way, the symposium will offer a forum to present the newest developments in therapy with alpha emitters and provide the opportunity for lively discussions, scientific exchange and networking. Potential topics for presentation include clinical experiences with alpha emitters, preclinical research, radionuclide production, instrumentation and dosimetry. The symposium will be starting with a welcome reception in the evening of May 30, 2017, followed by 2 days of oral and poster presentations on May 31 - June 1, 2017 in Ishikawa Ongakudo: Hougaku Hall. We sincerely hope that you will participate to make the symposium a success with your contribution. Please forward this announcement to any colleagues interested.

Registration Fee

Early Registration Fee is 18,000 JPY and On-site Registration Fee is 20,000 JPY. The fee for the two day symposium includes:
  • Symposium proceedings
  • Welcome reception Tuesday night
  • Lunch and coffee breaks for all symposium days
  • Symposium dinner on Wednesday

Early registration started from Dec. 1, 2016 and will close on April 30, 2017. On-site registration will open during the symposium.

Travel Awards for Young Researchers

A limited number of travel awards for young researchers (Ph.D. students and postdoctoral students) will be available.

For application, please submit an abstract as presenting author along with a CV to: tat10.kanazawa@gmail.com

Deadline for abstract submission is February 28, 2017.

Social Events

  • Welcome reception on Tuesday from 6 p.m.
  • Symposium dinner on Wednesday from 7 p.m.

Accommodation

We prepare some rooms for attendance. It is also reserved via registration page.

Cancellation Fees & Disclaimer

Cancellation after April 30: 6,000 JPY.

We may cancel an event due to commercial or organizational reasons. In this case, we will refund all attendance fees which already have been paid. We will not refund any additional charges arising from the participant having to cancel or rebook transportation or accommodation which he or she arranged.

We would like to point out the possibility of booking business rates with transport companies such as DB or airlines that can be canceled free of charge, or of taking out a seminar cancellation expenses insurance.
